FEST QUEST 2019 is right around the corner – only 2 weeks until October 19th – 20th!

October 11, 2019, Service Hours & Volunteer Opportunity – Friday, Oct. 11th beginning at 6 p.m., we will be cleaning out the storage room in the downstairs of the school. Ability to carry student desks, etc. up the stairs to the dumpster outside is all that is required.

October 12, 2019, Service Hours & Volunteer  Opportunity – We will be cleaning out the rental property at 1730 Lake Street (inside & out) on Sat., Oct. 12th from 1- 3 p.m. Ability to carry anything from light clothing to heavy couches & tables will be needed. We will be sorting everything in 3 categories, sell, donate, throw away, so if you are good at that we could use your skills as well.

Volunteer Sign Up: There are still over 200 open volunteer slots that need to be filled!  Students in grade 5 or older may sign up to help & receive service hours. Refer to the Bulletin for Sign Up Instructions and Contact Info

Chili Cook-Off & Dessert Bar:  Seats are filling up fast for the Chili Cook-Off & Dessert Bar on Sat., Oct. 19th. This is an adult only (must be 21 years or older to attend) event that will include 10 different Chili competitors, a fabulous Dessert Bar, & a cash bar. We are only able to take 100 reservations total. Tickets are $25 per person, payable the night of the event. Refer to the Bulletin for Contact Info.

50+ Envelopes: 50+ Envelopes has started strong! Check out the board at the back of Church. We have filled the board for the second, & final, time. Make sure you get your envelope before the board is cleared! Just take an envelope & donate the amount shown on the envelope or on the slip inside the ??? envelopes. Envelopes may be dropped off at the Rectory during the week or placed in the collection basket at Mass. This is a quick & easy way to support Fest Quest.

Basket Making Help:  Our wonderful Basket Making Helpers will be available on Sunday, Oct. 6th from 1-4 p.m. to help you finish your baskets. You may also drop off completed baskets, items to make a basket, &/or live & silent auction items that day. In addition, completed baskets may be left in the Bride’s room at Church or at the Rectory. All baskets need to be received by 5 p.m. on Sun., Oct. 6th in order to be listed in the Fest Quest catalog. We will gladly accept donations up to the day of the event, however all items received after Oct. 6th will NOT be listed in the catalog.

Silent & Live Auction Donations: Baskets & auction items donated by the parish have been coming in slowly. We still need donations! Donations may be left in the Bride’s room or at the Rectory during the week. We need to get donations recorded in the computer, so we would appreciate receiving them as early as possible. Refer to the Bulletin for Contact Info.

Sweet Shoppe & Cake Wheel: Desserts, Desserts, & more Desserts! Do you have a talent for making desserts? We will need lots of goodies for the Sweet Shoppe & Cake Wheel. Items may be dropped off on Sat., Oct. 19th from 9 a.m.-Noon or Sun., Oct. 20th from 8-10 a.m. on tables in the main hall of school.

Lottery Tickets: If you were unable to pick up your Lottery Tickets or if you need additional tickets, they are available at the Rectory during week day hours. Sold tickets & payments may be dropped off at the Rectory during the week or placed in the collection basket at Mass. Please put your ticket stubs & money in an envelope & mark “Fest Quest” on the envelope.
