KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL 11001 - ROADSIDE CLEAN UP
All Blessed Sacrament Students that NEED SERVICE HOURS or those who would just like to help:
The Blessed Sacrament Knights of Columbus Council is conducting a Road Side Clean Up on
Saturday, September 22nd from 8am to 9 am. We will be picking up litter and other debris along the
road from Lee’s Chicken to the Denton road. We are asking Blessed Sacrament Students for help with
this clean up. Every student participating will earn 2 service credits. This will be good training in
environmental responsibility. Each student will be a part of team with adult supervisors. They will be
provided safety vests. Students will be supervised at all times. Students should wear long pants, good
sturdy shoes and gloves. You may need a hat and jacket depending on the weather.
Parents please bring your student to the Lee’s Chicken parking lot at 7:45am. We want to begin the
clean up promptly at 8:00am. We expect to be finished by 9am or shortly after. Please be ready to
pick up your student at the Lee’s Chicken parking lot by 9am. PARENTS ARE WELCOME TO
STAY AND HELP WITH THE CLEAN-UP, TOO! We believe this will be a fun, learning
experience for each student. Oh, yes… rolls, juice or water will be provided for all workers.
Please fill out the forms below for any students who would like to participate!
