Blessed Sacrament Parish Family invites you to a Eucharistic Pilgrimage & Ice Cream Outing
Who: Everyone is welcome! Young, distinguished, families, children.
What: Our first parish Eucharistic Pilgrimage
When: Tuesday, September 5, 2023
Where: Adoration Convent of Christ the King Chapel (the “Pink Sisters” 1040 South Cotner Blvd.) at 7:15pm.
Followed by Dairy Queen* (3835 South St.) around 8:15pm.
Why go on a pilgrimage? Because a pilgrimage:
- is an outward expression of one’s faith and love for God
that can be a source of grace and merit; - can transform us and lead us to a personal conversion;
- is an opportunity to petition the Lord in a special way for a
personal need or for the needs of our family and friends; - is a symbol of our life’s journey on this earth. We are all
pilgrims on a journey to our true home, heaven, wherein our
citizenship lies and for which we were created.
Join us for some quiet time with Our Lord, night prayer and Benediction with the Sisters, and then enjoy a sweet treat with old and new friends!
*We kindly ask that each family is responsible for their own ice cream.
